Accra, Jan. 30, GNA - FIFA referee Joseph Lamptey has been appointed to officiate the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary clash between US Ouagadougou of Burkina Faso and ASC Jaraaf of Senegal.
The first leg clash billed for the 15,000-capacity Municipal Stadium in Ouagadougou will have compatriots Salifu Malik and David Laryea as assistants.
Information gathered by GNA Sports from the continent's soccer governing body, CAF has it that, Kangbega Lambert and Agonkan Bertin will serve as the fourth referee and Match Commissioner respectively. Lamptey, 34 and an officer of the Ghana Immigration Service was the most active Ghanaian referee last term handling several continental assignments.
