Larbi ruled out of the season due to knee injury

Asante Kotoko midfielder Francis Larbi Koomson has been ruled out of the 2014/2015 season after suffering a frightening knee injury.

Koomson is said for six-eight months on the sidelines for tearing an anterior cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus.

He suffered the injury in training two weeks during a test match at Kotoko’s Adako Jachie training ground.

Koomson’s setback will be a major blow for head coach Mas-Ud Dramani who had experienced playing the hardworking midfielder alongside Kwadwo Poku. He joined Kotoko this January on a free transfer after leaving Medeama SC.
