Accra Hearts of Oak have reacted to suspended midfielder Laryea Kingston’s request to be released from his remaining contract with the club because ‘his ambition to help the club is not working’.
FootyGhana gathers the club would want to recoup from the 18-month GH¢80,000 contract Laryea Kingston signed with the club.
The club has decided they will only leave him immediately if he is able to buy himself out of his contract else they will rather have him serve the remainder of the deal.
Hearts are holding on with the suspicion that the former Black Star winger could be having a foreign offer and would want to benefit from it.
The 32-year old is currently under an indefinite suspension by the club after physically abusing the club’s accountant Hackman Aidoo last month.
The midfielder flew into tantrums when the official handed him a letter containing Management's decision to withhold his January salary for truancy.
Laryea re-joined his boyhood club Hearts of Oak in January 2012 and has not more than four months for his deal to run out.
