Ghanaian international and former Asante Kotoko right-winger, Lawrence Adjei’s hopes of playing in the German Bundesliga is now a dream. The player who assisted then German second division club, Arminia Bielefeld to gain promotion to the Bundesliga has been loaned to second division club - Entracht Trier.

Russian giants, Spartak Moscow who first signed on Adjei from Asante Kotoko loaned him German side, Bielefeld. During the 2001/02 seasons, when he was with Bielefeld, he played a total of five games and managed to score a goal.

No reasons have been given for Bielefeld’s decision but Lawrence Adjei, 22, is now expected to feature on loan for his new club – Trier, which has a good relationship with his former Ghanaian club, Asante Kotoko due to German coach, Ernst Middendorp’s affiliation to Kotoko.
