English Premier League champions Leicester City have sounded out several Championship teams over the availability of Ghana target Joe Dodoo on loan.
Leicester is bracing for a tough defence of their title and are looking to bring in experienced strikers to support Jamie Vardy this season.
However, Leicester boss, Claudio Ranieri believes that although the Kumasi-born Dodoo still has a future at the club, his development would be furthered by a stint in the Championship where he will be assured of regular playing time.
Among the clubs the 22-year-old has been offered to include; Birmingham City, Fulham, Newcastle, QPR and Aston Villa where he could form a partnership with compatriot, Jordan Ayew.
The club has already shipped out Croatian forward Andrej Kramaric in anticipation of acquiring long-term target Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa, who is set to complete a deal between £16m to £23m after his medical on Tuesday.
Leicester is also linked with EURO 2016 Wales Star, Hal Robson-Kanu.
The Ghana FA recently rubbished reports that FIFA has completed the nationality switch for Dodoo to represent Ghana.
