Liberty/Faisal match scheduled for Saturday

Accra, Jan 12. GNA - Dansoman based Liberty Professionals will honour their first match against Kumasi based King Faisal Football Club at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, January 17 instead of Sunday, January 18

The match was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday at the same venue but the date has been changed to Saturday due to a Gospel Rock Show which comes on at the Stadium on Sunday in commoration with the 11th anniversary of the Third Republic.

The Sunday match is therefore expected to be the opening match of the tournament, which was scheduled to kick off on January 11, but had to be postponed to January 17 to enable the sponsors gain enough publicity.

Hearts are however scheduled to play Berekum Arsenals on Sunday, January 18, at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
