Liberty Oldies play Teshie

Accra, Sept. 21, GNA - Teshie old Stars will try to avenged an earlier defeat suffered at the hands of their Dansoman Liberty counterparts as the two sides clash in a fierce return friendly soccer match at Teshie on Saturday, September 27.

The Liberty Oldies hammered their Teshie old folks 4-2 a week ago and are bent on endorsing their dominance over their "friends". A source close to the Teshie camp said they are determined to make Liberty Old Stars taste their first defeat in the year before they (Liberty) trek to Lagos to face All Stars International, led by Nigerian soccer legend "Mathematical" Odegbami.

Players expected to feature for the Teshie Oldies are Paul Adjoda, Nana Benyin Essien, Adjetey Sowah and Sowah Nartey, all former players of Hearts of Oak.

Others are Pee Lartey, Henry Otinkorang and Amoah Tawiah, formerly of Great Olympics.

The rest are Razak Korley, Laryea Pepper and Danny Annang plus Expatriates Charles Ohuegbe and Emmanuel Snow of Nigeria and Liberia respectively.

The Liberty Oldies will be counting on goalkeeper Felix Archie Mills, Maapa Inkum, Kwasi Adzrah, Mawuli Quarshie, Kelly Bortey, Alhaji Sly Tetteh, Sherif Pajero, Kassum Mingle, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, Issah Inussah, Abraham Allotey and Joe Aryeetey. 21 Sept. 2003.
