Lions to Lose Sadat after League

Impressive Kpando based Heart of Lions, will after the end of this season, miss the services of young striker Sadat Bukari to Israel side Bieter Jerusalem.

According to investigations conducted by this paper, the former Black Starlets forward who featured for Ghana at the World Youth tournament in Peru in 2005, is currently serving a six-month loan period from his mother club, Bieter Jerusalem in Israel.

Sadat, who joined the Israeli club last year together with Black Stars midfielder Derek Boateng, was flown down to Ghana after officials of Heart of Lions requested to have their former player on a loan period for the rest of the club’s league matches this season before joining Bieter in the summer instead of being a reserved at his club.

Since joining Jerusalem, young Sadat has not been able to feature for his club in the Israeli Premier League because he is yet to reach age eighteen years, which will warrant him a work permit in order to pursue his professional career.

Sadat, who earned a call-up by the technical handlers of the National Under-23 soccer side, the Black Meteors to join the squad for their next qualifier, also featured for the Kpando club in the 2005/06 soccer season, has so far scored some important goals for the club since his return.

Lions, who have being in fantastic form this season clinching some vital away victories, are currently placed second on the league table with thirty-eight points after leaders Accra Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko and Ashgold. They face Alhaji Gunzah’s King Faisal in their next league game to be honored at their Kpando base.
