English giants Liverpool have renewed their interest in signing Ghana star Andre Ayew from Olympique Marseille, according to reports in the French media.
But the Reds must beat competition from a flock of Italian clubs who have lined up to sign the 24-year-old winger.
Marseille have been fighting to maintain their grip of the influential attacking midfielder but they are set to lose him at the end of the season along with shot-stopper Steve Mandanda.
Andre still remains Marseille’s best player and one of the top footballers in the French top-flight and Marseille would demand around 25 million Euros from any club who come in for him.
However, Andre could increase his price tag if he excels at the 2014 World Cup where he is expected to feature for Ghana.
