Lorient FC and Aston Villa have reached an agreement on the transfer of Ghana striker Jordan Ayew for €14 million.
According to RMC, the 23-year-old underwent a medical on Saturday in Birmingham and will sign a five-year contract with the English Premier League side if he passes.
Jordan, who scored 12 goals in 31 Ligue 1 appearances, has been snapped by manager Tim Sherwood to replace Belgium striker Christian Benteke.
He will be looking forward to reuniting with his elder brother André, who signed a four-year contract with Swansea City, in the English League.
