Former Hearts of oak and national star Louis Agyemang is on the verge of making history as the first Ghanaian taking individual honour in South Africa. Louis Agyemang have helped his team Kaizer Chiefs reach the final of the ABSA Cup final by beating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 on penalties over the weekend.
Louis could have added his name to the score sheet and prevented the game from going to extra time but thanks to an equally excellent goalkeeping from former N0.1 goalkeeper for Bafana Bafana Andre Ardense, who prevented Louis from scoring in the 108th and 120th minutes of the game.
Notwithstanding Louis Agyemang have been able to score 4 goals in the competition and is leading the chart. Tyren Arendse of Orlando Pirates whom they will play in the final have so far scored 2, therefore he needs to score at least 2 or more in their match against Chiefs before he can have a dream of sharing or taking the honour from the Ghanaian.
The winner of the Golden Boot Award which is named after Nathi Majorzi will take home cool R 40,000.
