PARIS (Reuters) - Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says he will make a decision about the future of Chelsea target Michael Essien on Sunday.
Aulas, who has repeatedly said he will not sell the Ghana midfielder for less than 45 million euros, met Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and the English champions' chief executive Peter Kenyon on Friday.
"We have discussed (the case)," Aulas told sports daily L'Equipe on Saturday.
"But we have not reached any agreement. We'll take a decision on Sunday night, after the Marseille game."
French champions Lyon kick off at Marseille in the third round of Ligue 1 matches on Sunday at 1945 BST.
Essien, who has said he is desperate to join the London-based club, has not been included in Lyon's squad for the game. He has yet to play a competitive match for Lyon this season.
