MP supports football development in constituency

Komenda-Sehwi, (C/R) Aug. 24, GNA - Twenty communities in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) District in the Central Region are to participate in a special football gala.

The Gala which would be organized by the constituency office of Dr Joseph Annan, Member of Parliament for the area is to help towards the development of the sport and to make the youth fraternise with each other.

Mr Charles Entsuah, personal secretary to Dr Annan, announced this when he presented two sets of jerseys and two footballs each to two of the beneficiary communities, Komenda-Sehwi and Komenda Daber at separate ceremonies on Saturday.

He said the MP's office has acquired twenty sets of jerseys and twenty balls worth 7,500.00 dollars, and that the other 18 beneficiary communities would receive their share later.

Mr Paul Nyarko, secretary to the Komenda-Sehwi Youngsters Club who received the items on behalf of his community thanked the MP for his support. 24 Aug. 09
