Mahatma Otoo's Sogndal falls to Stromsgodset

Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo led Sogndal into the game against Stromsgodset but they were humiliated 5-0 at their own backyard on Friday night.

Sogndal named the former Ghana Premier League top-scorer in their attack, hoping he would inspire them to victory over their visitors, but the 21-year-old could do little on the night.

Stromsgodset dominated the game from the start and scored four times within the opening 30 minutes of the game.

After the humiliation in the first half, the former Hearts of Oak striker was replaced, but the host failed to do anything positive after the break than reduce their rate of conceding.

Otoo has failed to score since joining the club.
