Maritzburg United coach Eric Tinkler has hailed goalkeeper Richard Ofori as a quality player and wants clubs interested in him to be prepared to pay a lot of money.
The Black Stars shot-stopper has been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Sundowns and Belgian club Genk.
“If someone wants him, it’s going to be a lot of money… that I can tell, because of the qualities that he has,” Tinkler stated in relations to Ofori.
“Richard is a quality goalkeeper, there’s always gonna be interest in him, but he’s a good professional, modern professional… he works extremely hard. There are aspects of his game I still feel he must improve on, but he remains our No1 goalkeeper and our captain.”
The 26-year-old was the man of the match over the weekend as Maritzburg defeated league leaders Kaizer Chiefs by two goals to one.
