Marseille offers €3m to sign Frank Acheampong

Olympique Marseille have made a €3 million offer to Anderlecht to secure the services of Ghana winger Frank Acheampong as a replacement for Andre Ayew ahead of his imminent departure from the French Ligue 1 giants, according to a report by Voetbal Nieuws.

Andre Ayew, whose contract runs out in June this year, has been linked with several clubs including AS Roma and Liverpool.

Anderlecht will consider the offer though the Belgian outfit handed Acheampong a two-year contract extension on February 13.

Acheampong has made 28 appearances for Anderlecht in the Belgian top flight, scoring two goals this season.
