Liberty Professionals secured an impressive 1-0 victory against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium. Young forward Issah Shaibu's 18th minute strike was the difference as Kenichi Yatsuhashi men fell to their third defeat at home.
Kenichi Yatsuhashi's started the game knowing very well that a victory will pull them to the summit of the league table after Aduana Stars loss yesterday.

The goal surprisingly brought the best out of the away side who went on to dominate the first half of the game.
The first half saw some surprising calls from Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi who pulled out Isaac Mensah and Eric Kumi with their place being taken by Paul Acquah and Sarbah Laryea but that change did little to effect the direction of the game.
Ollenu Ashitey had a perfect opportunity to slip in an equalizer but his shot was wide and very disappointing on the 69th minute.
Hearts of Oak began to throw men forward in search of an equalizer but that opened the game out for Liberty who looked very dangerous at every attempt.
Liberty Professionals created a lot of chances in the last ten minutes and will be disappointed they failed to add to their tally in what was a very disappointing Hearts of Oak performance.
The results means Hearts of Oak remain second on the league log but just two goals behind leaders Wa All Stars
