Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is uncertain of handing Callum Hudson-Odoi a starting berth in their UEFA Europa League clash against Dynamo Kiev on Thursday.
The Blues have had a number of grueling matches over the past few weeks, losing the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City but beating Tottenham and Fulham in the following games.
Although Sarri’s squad is injury-free, he feels several plays need a rest – though that does not necessarily mean Hudson-Odoi will start, and he feels too much pressure is being put on the youngster.
Asked if the winger will play, he said: ‘Callum is always in my mind in every match. I don’t know if tomorrow he will be on the pitch or not.”
“I think also that you have to put less pressure on the young English player because they need to improve. I have never see a player of 18 at the top.
