Maxbees, Voradep draw 1-1

Ho, Nov. 9 - GNA- Voradep Football Club was on Sunday held by Suhum Maxbees to a one-all draw in their last Zone 3B Division One League encounter, played at the Ho Sports Stadium.

Maxbees scored through Isaac Ofori in the 27th minute when he beat Voradep's Godwin Gaga on the run to deliver a terrific shot, which slipped through the hands of goalie Abubakar Sadik into the net. After recess, both team continued to play a purposeless game until Voradep fetch the equaliser in the 65th minute through enterprising Godwin Kumeko.

It was George Blankson's shot at goal, which fell in the path of Kumeko who did justice to the ball by shooting it through a cluster of legs to beat Nurudeen in post for Maxbees.

Stephen Attipoe could have increased the tally for his side but he either shot the ball feebly or shot wayward in the 51st, 66th and 78th minutes.
