Medeama SC interim manager Augustine Adortey wants his side to capitalize on their away goal against Mamelodi Sundowns when they take on the South Africans in the reverse fixture on Wednesday.
The Mauves will host their counterparts in the second leg tie at the Essipong Stadium.
Medeama threw away an early lead to lose 3-1 in the first leg game at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The Ghanaians will hence need to win the return fixture by at least two unanswered goals in other to progress to the Group stages of the competition.
Adotey who was appointed as the stop-gap coach after the departure of head coach Tom Strand wants his side to take advantage of the away goal recorded in the first leg game.
“It is good we had an away goal there, we just have to capitalize on it and try to score two, three goals,” he told Atinka FM.
“We have to get three goals because that will be more secured, but I am happy we have an away goal going into the second leg and am confident we will deliver.
Medeama will be hoping to make it to the Money zone after missing out in the last edition to Congolese outfit AC Leopards.
