Medeama arrive in Accra for Super Cup

Medeama have landed in Accra ahead of their hugely-anticipated Super Cup clash against Ashantigold on Sunday.

The Mauve and Yellows will be without versatile midfielder Victor Ayirey for the crucial tie at the Accra sports stadium.

The team has checked into their hotel at an unknown location in the capital.

Coach Tom Strand has assembled a crop of talented players ahead of the game against the miners.

Top players including Kwesi Donsu, Paul Aidoo, Samuel Adade, Benjamin Bature,Malik Akowuah, Eric Kwakwa, Enoch Attah Agyei and influential goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe all made the trip.

The 2016 Super Cup is expected to usher in the new season which kick starts on February 20.
