Medeama coach Prince Owusu is confident his side will beat Hearts of Oak in the return leg of the friendly this Sunday in Tarkwa.
The Mauve and Yellows suffered a 1-0 loss to the Phobians thanks to a first half strike from new signing Kwame Kizito.
Medeama put up a spirited second half performance and were unfortunate not to earn at least a point.
But Owusu says he was impressed with his side’s output and remains confident of a win the reverse encounter.
“I feel we played very well in the second half and were unlucky not to get a point from this game but that’s how sometimes football is,” Owusu said.
“I am confident that we have what it takes to beat them in the second leg.”
