Medeama land sponsorship deal with water company

Ghana FA Cup and Super Cup winners Medeama have announced the signing of a sponsorship deal with SO Nice Drinking Water.

The Tarkwa-based water company will supply drinking water to the team and staff for a period of one year, according to the deal.

The amount of the contract was not disclosed by the club, who lost their first match of the season to top rivals and Ghana champions Ashantigold 2-1 on Sunday.

Medeama become one of the few clubs in the topflight to secure sponsorship this season after Techiman, who have two deals under their belt.

Tom Strand’s men will play host to Accra giants Hearts of Oak by the weekend in Match Day Two of the league.
