Ghana captain John Mensah has pulled out of the Ghana squad to face Korea on Tuesday, the Ghana Football Association has confirmed.
The defender alongside Kevin-Prince Boateng, Michael Essien, Prince Tagoe, Andre Ayew, Samuel Inkoom and goalkeeper Sammy Adjei missed the Saturday morning flight to Seoul.
Mensah picked up a knock during Friday's 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo in Kumasi and he is been left behind for further checks while Inkoom is out injured.
AC Milan's Boateng has been allowed to return to his base in Milan with the club's physiotherapist for further checks on an injury picked up during the closing stages of the season in Italy.
Both Essien and Tagoe have been excused to attend to pressing family matters with Andre also missing out as he also attends to other concerns.
The Black Stars sealed a 3-1 win at the Seoul World Cup stadium, the last time both sides met, back in 2006 in another friendly.
Asamoah Gyan, who hit a brace and Michael Essien were the goalscorers on the day.
