Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah has warned his team-mates that they will receive hostile reception in Casablanca despite their opponents, Guinea, playing away from home.

CAF chose Casablanca as the home venue for Guinea in the AFCON qualifiers due to the spread of the Ebola Virus.

Though the match is not expected to see thousands of fans trooping to the stadium to cheer the Syli Nationales on to victory, the Rennes defender is worried about the circumstance and is expecting hostile reception from the few supporters from Guinea.

“I don’t know if their fans will be coming to the stadium to cheer them on, but I guess even the smaller number that will be coming to the stadium will be very noisy. For me, I think that, it’s even an advantage for them because there won’t be a lot of pressure on them.

“Normally, there is pressure playing at home, because the fans demand a lot, so moving the game from their home to Casablanca will be positive thing for them.”

“The Ghana team is ready for them; we know if we are able to win this game, it will help our aim of booking a place in the AFCON, so we will make sure we pick all points from this game.”

“The coaches have told us to take one match at a time and that is what we are focusing on, we are not thinking about any game with the exception of the one we will be playing against Guinea.
