Kotoko interim head coach Michael Osei has hinted the Porcupine Warriors would make a swoop for Ghana Premier League big-guns when the transfer window opens.

The former Ghana international has revealed the Kumasi-based giants are planning to ship Premier League goal-king Latif Blessing, Bechem United star Abednego Tetteh and Techiman City sensation Baba Mahama.

Kotoko finished in a lowly 5th berth on the ladder and are have already began plans on transfer market activities ahead of next season.

"Definitely, there's going to be a massive recruitment by bringing in more talented and promising stars like Latif Blessing, Baba Mahama and Abednego Tetteh. I know our fans will be very much elated to see these big players in their team next season," he told Kumasi-based Silver FM.

Mahama, who impressed on his debut season in the Ghanaian top-flight, has already hinted on his readiness to make a switch to the Baba Yara Stadium after revealing he could join Hearts or Kotoko.

Latif Blessing was rejected by Kotoko when he trialed out with the former African champions four seasons ago. While the attacker is open to a switch to Kotoko where his childhood pal Dauda Mohammed plays, Liberty Professionals have declared Kotoko lack the financial muscle to sign the winger.
