Former German coach of league champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko Ernst Middendrop is on his way back to Ghana once again this week not for holidays but to start work as the new coach for Accra Hearts of Oak after finalising his contract. Unfortunately he will not be on the bench of the phobians during the Coca cola top 4 but if all things goes well he will start work by first week of Febuary.
This information was disclose to Hot FM sports by the chairman of SOS Networx Mr. Herbert Mensah in an exclusive interview yesterday.Ernst Middendrop is currently coaching in his native Germany.
I AM NOT A BOARD MEMBER OF HEARTS OF OAK-HERBERT MENSAH
Mr. Herbert Mensah has stated that he is not a member of Accra Hearts of Oak and therefore it will be very difficult for him to be made the board chairman of the club even though many of the phobian fans are calling for him to be made the board chairman of the club.Speaking to Hot 106 FM in Hertfordshire, Mr Mensah said his new organisation SOS Networx is there to give any necessary assistance to clubs in search of coaches, sponsorship, marketing, preseason preparation in terms of arranging training tours in europe for interested clubs. According to Mr. Herbert Mensah a business tycoon by all standards, he has sent a proposal to Hearts of Oak and is waiting for reply from the board chairman Mr. Ato Ahwoi.
Some of the members of the SOS Networx according to the chairman are Phillip Addission,Edwin Addo, Kwabena Amoako, former Black Star coach Ralf Zumdick, the boss playa Komla Dumor presenter of the SMS on JOY FM and others.SOS Networx according to the chairman has a strong network with some top foreign coaches in the world and therefore are prepare to negotiate for any club that is interested in acquiring the services of foreign coach.
