Coach Abdulai Abukari has said relegation-threatened Prestea Mines Stars would survive the scare in which they currently find themselves.

Coach Abdulia told GNA Sports that though the league has only six matches to go, he was working around the clock to see to it that his side remains in the league.

"We would make sure that all our home games are won whiles we draw away."

"Everyone is as hungry as a lion and for that matter we are battle ready to make use of the rest of the matches to survive."

The coach who took charge of the team at the beginning of the second round said the team has all the men to do the job just as any good team but inexperience has affected their play.

"It is not easy for any team which is making a maiden appearance in the league to shoot up from the word go. It is natural that the team would have to go through hell in order to settle down just as it is happening to us now. If we are able to survive, Ghanaians should expect a new team next season," he added.

Concerning the league, the coach said he was impressed with its tempo so far. He said the competitive nature of the league was good for the development of soccer in the country.

He said Hearts of Oak's dominance should be the hallmark of the football authorities since it is a good example of consistency.
