Minister congratulates Black Stars

Accra, Feb. 4, GNA - Professor Dominic Fobih, Minister of Education, Science and Sports on Monday congratulated the Black Stars and its management for their spectacular performance that enabled the team to subdue the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the quarterfinal match. "The resilient fighting spirit that you exhibited throughout the game, especially when the numerical strength of the team was reduced, gives all Ghanaians the hope of winning the trophy because of the strong team spirit that exists in your camp", he said.

These were contained in a message signed by Professor Fobih, in which he urged the Stars to stay focused on the rest of the two matches that stood between them and the trophy.

"Please concentrate on each game and redouble your efforts, both individually and as a team, and you will surely make Ghana and yourselves proud at the end of the tournament", Mr. Fobih added.
