"THERE are teams when they come for you; you need to listen to them. I already missed a chance to play for a super team (Manchester United), but this time I need to seize it." These were the words from new Inter Milan signing Sulley Muntari when asked about the move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Indeed, every player's dream is to play with the big boys. Cristiano Ronaldo wants Real Madrid, Gareth Barry wants Liverpool, Ricardo Quaresma wants Inter Milan and Asante Kotoko's sensational right-full back, Samuel Inkoom also wants a dream move to FC Barcelona. It has come to the notice of your authoritative 90 Minutes that representatives of world renowned JP SPORTS have sent in a request to the management of Asante Kotoko on behalf of FC Barcelona to enable fleet footed Inkoom join the Blaugrana Team B side for a 2 week trial.

In an exclusive interview granted to 90 Minutes at our offices, Inkoom said: “It's the dream of every player to progress onto the biggest platforms in Europe to showcase our God given talents. There are opportunities that one cannot miss in a lifetime and for a world class team like Barca to invite me for trials is too good to let the opportunity slip by.” He continued “I'm pleading with my bosses (Kotoko Management) to grant me this humble request to enable me go and prove my worth. I hope our loving fans will also understand as I'm currently the breadwinner of my family at this tender age and my family will never forgive me if I let them down as they all look up to me. I hope to go with Kotoko's backing and humbly plead with them to allow me make this dream move. When other teams came for me earlier on, I turned them down because of my love for Kotoko, but this time it will be hard to ignore a team like Barcelona”.

It will be recalled that JP SPORTS, who have the knack of securing deals for young African teenage talents, managed to secure lucrative deals for Ghanaian starlets such as Daniel Opare to Real Madrid, Saddiq Adams & Tawrick Jibril to Atletico Madrid, Mubarak Wakasu to Elche in Spain and so on. They are ready to fly Inkoom together with the rest of their players in Ghana this Friday should Kotoko decide to release Inkoom. It's learnt that Inkoom impressed scouts who were in Ghana to monitor Daniel Opare in the Black Satellites match against Angola which was played recently at the Ohene Djan Stadium.
