The Ministry Of Education,Science And Sports on Saturday paid a visit to Red Bull Soccer Academy in Sogakope.
Honorable Deputy Minister O.B Amoah and Dr.Owusu Ansah were at the academy to see its projects and also have interaction with the management and players.
The Minister and his entourage were welcomed to the Academy by Director Of School Mr.Gilbert Kwasi Yankson who stood in for the General Manager Sanzio Bahner who was in Austria on official duty.
Addressing the players and workers ,the Honorable minister thanked energy drink giant Red Bull for the investment which he described as among the best on the African continent.He advised them to be disciplined and be hard working to make good utilization of the opportunity offered them. He reminded them that they are the future of Ghana football and could be good replacements for the Appiahs, Essiens, and Muntaris when they listen to their leaders and eschew indiscipline. Hon. Amoah later assured management of government commitment in supporting Red Bull Academy in achieving its aims and objectives.
Livingstone Logoh , a player on behalf of his colleagues thank the minister for the advise and promised they would work hard to make the nation proud whenever they are called to national duty and also make good use of the opportunity. The minister and his entourage were later conducted round the academy by the P.R.O Cubagee Uriel and Facilities Managress Karolina to see some facilities which included three artificial pitches, one multi court, offices, classrooms, computer room, hostels, bungalows, kitchen and cafeteria . Other projects soon to be constructed include medical centre, Gymnasium ,five star guest house with swimming pool, an office complex etc.
