Accra, Nov 10, GNA - The Ministry of Education, Science and Sports has congratulated the Black Queens of Ghana for their outstanding performance at the on-going Africa Women Championship in Nigeria. A statement signed by Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah, Deputy Minister of the ministry said the qualification of the Queens to the finals and their subsequent qualification to the next FIFA World Cup in China in 2007 has made the entire nation proud.
The statement assured the team of the support of the nation as they approach the final match with Nigeria on Saturday, November 11 and urged the team to go all out and clinch victory to bring the trophy home for the first time.
"We believe in the Black Queens and trust in their ability to emerge victorious as we await your heroic return to Ghana with the trophy", the statement added.
