...while Troussier waits for word on ?16,474,659,350 Job
One of the favourite coaches penciled for the Black Stars Job, Ratomir Dujkovic has emphatically stated that money would not be a hindrance to his desire to manage the senior national team.

In his first ever interview to the press, he told SPACE FM in Sunyani, that he is more interested in what he could achieve with Black Stars than what he would earn in Ghana. ?Money is no problem as I?m prepared to go down the acceptable level by the F.A?, he disclosed to Kwabena Kyere Stugard in an exclusive interview.

Dujkovic who was beaming with confidence and to some extent, humility said he was very optimistic of succeeding in Ghana. ?With virtually no infrastructure, I was able to deliver in Rwanda, why not Ghana?, he queried.

He added that he has followed Ghana Football with keen interest and, mentioned that apart from Kotoko and Heart of Oak, he knows Ashanti Goldfields, King Faisal, Liberty Professionals are all very good sides, and is convinced that it was about time Ghana qualified for the World Cup.

Commenting on his meeting with the top brass officials of the F.A., Dujkovic who was nominated for the award of the African coach of the year 2003 revealed that he was impressed with the determination of the F.A. to get Ghana to Germany 2006.You could see determination written on the faces of the FA officials, he said. He lauded the F.A. for the warm reception and the cordial interactions that have taken place.

Dujkovic is bitterly remembered by Ghanaians for leading Rwanda to beat the 4-time champions Ghana and subsequently qualified at the expense of Ghana for the 2004 Nations Cup held in Tunisia. That achievement was recognized by CAF during the 2003 CAF Awards night. Rwanda received ?the Most Impressive achiever award?

Meanwhile, Phillipe Troussier is expected to arrive in the country over the weekend to meet the officials of the F.A. for deliberations. Troussier, who is also in contention for the Wales job is reported to have made demands that is about twice that of Dujkovic.

It is understood the new Wales manager will receive a four-year contract worth ?1million (?16,474,659,350) plus bonuses for reaching a major tournament.
The Black Stars of Ghana has been without a coach since the Portuguese, Mariano Barreto left post last September to take appointment at Maritimo in Portugal .
