Muniru Sulley suffers injury in Champions League exit

Ghanaian midfielder Muniru Sulley picked up a knock during Steaua Bucharest 1-0 defeat at Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old was replaced after 65 minutes at the Ettihad stadium as the Romanian giants crashed out of the competition on a 6-0 aggregate scoreline.

Muniru, the younger brother of Ghana outcast Sulley Muntari, has been a key mainstay for his side since joining.

The Ghanaian is expected to undergo further test before his side's League game against Pandurii Târgu Jiu on Saturday.
