Muntari: Milan must play in Europe next season

Ghana international Sulley Muntari is confident that AC Milan can qualify for the Europa League next season.

The midfielder said although the Rossoneri had a torrid period in the Serie A this season, playing in Europe next term is their priority now.

“Playing in the Europa League looks likely at this point and we deserve to go though our direct competitors have done and are having a great result,” Muntari told Milanista.

“Milan has to go to Europe. Next year we will.”

The former European champions over the weekend beat Inter 1-0 to brighten their chances of playing in the Europa League with Muntari playing the final 15 minutes.
