Ghana striker Sulley Muntari returned to training on Friday afternoon after missing out the previous day’s session at the Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
The stand-in captain watched the entire late afternoon light training session from the dugout as he was massaged by the medical team.
Muntari picked a minor leg knock in South Africa as watched as the rest of the players went through routine light training that lasted slightly over 30 minutes.
But the AC Milan ace was assertive on the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Friday afternoon about 24 hours before facing Zambia at the same venue.
Ghana play the Chipolopolo Boys in a Group D FIFA World Cup qualifier.
