Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has declared that there will be no room for excuses for failing to reach the final of the 2012 Orange Africa Cup of Nations.

The AC Milan midfielder tells Cafonline.com that they are determined and highly motivated to go for the kill against the Chipolopolos, when they lock horns on Wednesday at the Estadio de Bata in the coastal city of Bata.

"We have no excuse. We have our minds made up and are motivated to win," said the 27-year old, who is making his third appearance at the continental flagship football event.

Muntari sums up the huge expectations of the team amounting to some level of pressure, but are matured to match the demands.

"There is a bit of pressure when you are always the favourites. Since the FIFA World Cup in 2006, we have been playing well and exhibited great talent. People are expecting a lot from us and we (players) expect to do better as well. We want to win and we are on the right path."

Speaking of the Chipolopolos, Muntari said: "Zambia is a strong side and they won't be here if they were not a good team. They have dangerous players and play as a unit. Each team has an ambition to high and we reckon it won't be easy."

The winner of the Ghana-Zambia clash will face either Cote d'Ivoire or Mali in Sunday's final scheduled for Libreville, Gabon.
