Udinese's Ghanaian international Sulley Muntari has been suspended for two games by the Italian football disciplinary authority after his expulsion in Sunday's Serie A game at Parma.
The midfielder was guilty of exchanging blows with Parma's Vincenzo Grella in the second half and was shown a straight red card by the referee.
Ironically, the 22-year-old started the game as Udinese's hero by scoring the opening goal of their 3-0 away victory.
The Ghanaian is suspended for Udinese's home match with Serie A leaders Inter Milan on Sunday as well as next week's visit to Empoli.
