Nac Breda swerves Mathew Amoah

Nac Breda have offered Dutch-born Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Sarpong a contract, but are yet to give a lifeline to striker Mathew Amoah despite his impressive form for the club in the pre-season.

Players of the Dutch Eredivisie side took an official photo for the new 2013-14 season during the annual press day on Friday, but Amoah and Boldiszar Bodor were not included as the club has not offered them any contract.

Amoah, 32, is seeking for a contract with his former employers and though he has excelled in the trials the club is finding it difficult to give him a contract due to his age, according to bndestem.nl.
