Nana Poku set for trials in Israel

Footy-ghana.com understands that Berekum Chelsea striker Nana Poku could be set for trials with Israeli top flight side Ashdod.

The forward, currently on loan at FA Cup finalists Ashanti Gold, signed for Berekum Chelsea at the start of last season from Berekum Arsenal without kicking a ball for them, and after a few failed trials, moved to Obuasi on loan.

It is unclear whether his impending trip will leave him available for the MTN FA Cup final on August 5 when Ashanti Gold face New Edubiase United in Accra.
