Napoli had already been in talks for Andre Ayew and their interest only increased after World Cup goals for Ghana.
The Olympique Marseille striker has been very impressive in the tournament so far, finding the net against both USA and Germany.
Napoli have the upper hand on the transfer market, as they already made an offer said to be worth €10m back in May.
“It’s true, I have received an offer from Napoli,” Ayew told Football 411 last month.
“I talked about it with my agent and he confirmed it. I haven’t decided what to do yet. I have one year left on my contract with Olympique and we haven’t discussed the future. It will all happen after the World Cup.”
