National Deaf team for curtain raiser

Accra, August 10, GNA - The National soccer team of the Deaf, the Black Wonders will engage NETWORK Football Club in a special friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday August 11.

The game is billed to serve as a curtain raiser of the outstanding knockout match between Accra Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold in the Ghana League Clubs Association's (GHALCA) Novelty Knockout.

The encounter will serve as the final trial for the National Deaf team ahead of their last qualifier slated against their South African counterparts later in the year.

The winner of the South African tie would qualify to participate in this year's Deaflympics Championship scheduled for Australia.
