F.C Tanga's young dependable defender and National U-17 player, Abdul-Razak Yussif has said in an interview that playing for the National U-17 Team has provided him the opportunity to learn more to better his career as a footballer.
According to the young center back, playing for the National U-17 has taught him things on and off the field, which hitherto he did not know and believes that, those lessons will guard his professional football life.
Abdul-Razak however, noted that, although he has played for the National U-17 team, he still sees that current competition in F.C Tanga as keen and will have to work hard to fit in as soon as possible and gain qualification into the first team for regular playing time.
He noted that, playing football at the national level, has afforded him a wealth of experience and he is ready to bring them on board, to achieve the F.C Tanga dream of qualifying for the Ghana Premier League.
"When I was here, I learnt a lot, but playing for the National U-17 has also taught me many things. I have learnt and I think I am growing in experience, which I hope to bring on board so that myself and my colleagues will help achieve our dreams by the end of this season."
He hailed the hard work done by his colleagues to keep the Club going stronger, while he was away on a National assignment, but noted that, more has to be done to ensure the dream of entering the Premier League, becomes a reality.
Currently F.C Tanga has the support of majority of the people in the Bolgatanga Municipality and the rest of the Upper East Region, because, the Club has shown signs of pursuing the regional dream of having a Premier Club, for the first time in the history of football in Ghana and the Upper East Region.
