Cape Coast, Sept.21, GNA - A Five-man executive members of the Ghana League Clubs Association have been elected to man the association's central regional branch.
Mr Samuel Apenteng, Executive Director of Elmina Coconut Grove Sharks is the chairman and Mr Aryee Danquah of the regional football association (RFA) as the vice.
The post of treasurer went to Alhaji Rashid Abubakar of Nyankomase Schalka 04 while Mr Jojo Duncan of Ekotsi Proud United and Mr Abu Seidu of "Kasoa God is Great" are to serve as the branch's representatives in Accra.
Mr Mathew Doe, Chairman of Cape Coast RFA who supervised the elections, urged the new officers to discharge their duties firm and fairly.
** Twifo Praso Akumpreko played a spectacular game to beat Cape Coast Nana Apreku Rainbow 3-0 in a friendly football match at Twifo Praso. Anelka Darku netted twice in the first half while John Taylor made it three in the 85th minute.
