New Ghana Cedi Tournament Organised In B/A

As part of creating more awareness for the change in currency in Ghana, Global Media Partners (space fm), organized a tournament for both private and public workers in the Brong Ahafo region to welcome the new Ghana cedi at the Suyani coronation park.

The Brong Ahafo regional minister Mr. Ignatius Baffour Awuah was there to mark the occasion. With over sixteen teams, Suyani regional hospital won the tournament by beating Catholic Youth stars 3 – 2 during penalties. Roman father Benedict Frimpong of Sunyani diocese was given the best player of the tournament which was presented by the C.E.O Aduana stars Mr. Osei Bonsu (Lord Zico).

Mr. Ignatius Baffour Awuah presented a set of jersey’s, football, and other kits to the regional hospital as part of their prizes and for putting up such a splendid performance.

Ghana telecom, Ghana police, internal revenue service, Ghana water, store operators association, mechanical engineers, Space fm and etc were all part of the teams that participated in the tournament.

Mr. Ransford Antwi managing director Space fm advocated the use of our new currency properly without causing financial loss to the country through mishandling.
