Nigeria's national U-23 team on Thursday left Abuja for Ghana ahead of Saturday's All Africa Games (AAG) qualifier.
The team will play their Ghanaian counterparts in Accra.
It is learned that the Samson Siasia led team departed for Lagos from where it would take a flight to Accra.
The team was accompanied by top officials of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) including the Chairman Sani Lulu.
The General Secretary Bolaji Ojo-Oba was also included in the trip, an official of the association who declined to be named added.
