The Head Coach of the Black Starlets, Paa Kwesi Fabin says there is no cause for alarm after the Under 17 national team lost 0-1to the Awudu Issaka Academy yesterday at the Tema Stadium.
The Starlets are currently preparing for this year’s African under 17 Nations Cup in Morocco with a series of friendly matches.
A first half strike from striker Anthony Smith Acquah secured victory for the Awudu Issaka Academy over the Starlets in yesterday’s friendly match, but Fabin, who used all 23 players in camp during the match told footy-ghana.com that he is not too worried about the result.
“We played with a decent team yesterday and it doesn’t mean all is lost. We played with a good side. Awudu Issaka has built a very good side and I am not surprised they played their heart out yesterday, but we are still focused and our aim is to do well in the upcoming tournament,” he said.
