Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani insists no team can topple them at the top of the table and his side are on course for a third consecutive league title.
The Porcupine Warriors had their title charge slowed in Dansoman where they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Liberty.
It was their fifth defeat of the season and that saw their point gap reduced from 12 to 11.
With nine matches to the end of the season, Dramani is not panicking at all.
He claims no club can overtake them.
“Mathematically we have not won the league but with nine matches to go I don’t see how someone can overtake us,” he told Metro FM.
“We have to look at things objectively. While you credit our opponents with points, do you also think we will be losing all our matches?
“I cannot say that it is a done deal but if you look at the way things stand now, we are almost there.”
Kotoko will play second-tier side Istanbul on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in the MTN FA Cup round 16 tie.
