Alex Nyarko will be suspended for the game against Southampton after receiving his marching orders at Ipswich for two bookable offences. Nyarko admits to being astonished at the referees decision to send him off

"The referee was smiling at me all through the game but then he sent me off just like that," he said.

"Everyone except the referee could see I was trying to tackle not foul their players.

"The referee wouldn't tell me why he was sending me off, but I had to show respect and just go."
