The whereabouts of Everton midfielder Alex Nyarko is becoming a mystery and it is thought that he may have played his last game for the club. According to a TEAMtalk contact the 27-year-old Ghanaian failed to turn in for training on Wednesday last week and subsequently did not feature in the club's 2-1 FA Cup third round victory at Watford yesterday. The contact also said:
"Nyarko no longer features in Everton's plans and has played his last game for the club."
The versatile 6' midfielder, who was so impressive at the beginning of the season, when he was also was forced to play in defence due to the Goodison injury crisis, has since suffered a loss of form.
Nyarko was originally recommended to Walter Smith by former Blue Olivier Dacourt, who was his midfield partner at Lens from where Walter Smith bought Nyarko in July 2000 for a fee of ?4.5M.
